BPOV 2K/2-6 ES - Biological wastewater treatment plant for family houses and small hotels up to 6 ES (population equivalent). The dimensioning of the biological wastewater treatment plant BPOV 2K was carried out in accordance with HRN EN 12566-3, and it is planned that 1 ES will consume 150 l/day of water and BOD 60g/day. The guaranteed output parameters for the BPOV 2K device type are BOD < 25 mg/l and COD < 125 mg/l.

Wastewater treatment takes place in two separate chambers. Wastewater enters the first chamber, where the first phase of floating matter and sedimentation waste are classified. Then he prepares for the second chamber. The waste water enters the second chamber where the water is aerated through bio generators that house microorganisms, which are in charge of purifying the waste water. The product of their work is activated sludge, which falls to the bottom and is pumped using air into the first chamber where sedimentation sludge settles. This is how waste water is prepared for the second chamber. As part of the maintenance and cleaning of the device, it is necessary to check the amount of sludge once a year and, if necessary, pump it out.
